What is the iTennisSystem software?
|
^ |
|
The iTennisSystem is a software that enables you to illustrate
tennis instructions graphically. In addition, the software organizes your tennis teaching
information, and manages your data (meaning drills, lessons, programs…). The 2D, 3D graphics,
images, and text capabilities, allow you to create a tennis drill in only a few minutes.

What kind of computer do I need to run the iTennisSystem?
|
^ |
|
The iTennisSystem runs on a basic computer with one of
Microsoft Windows Operating System installed (Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP). We recommend using
Windows XP on a PC with a CD ROM drive. For a complete list of hardware requirements, click here.
If you are looking to buy a new computer, our technical staff has listed
some suggestions here.

How could this product enhance my teaching and improve my business?
|

The iTennisSystem can help you in several ways:
1. Organizes
your tennis knowledge: This tool enables you to put your tennis
knowledge and experience into a tangible format (the iTennisSystem database
and the printouts you generate as an output). Essentially, you will build
a portfolio of your tennis knowledge that you can take anywhere, and apply
to different students, camps ...
2. Helps you communicate: You can
present your tennis students, your colleagues, and your kids
with
the nicely generated drills / lesson reports (you also can email them
directly from the software). This helps you communicate your ideas and
what you are teaching. It will also help your students, by giving them
material for reviewing later (I have seen some students take notes while
the pro. is explaining a doubles drill, so that they don't forget it when
they are practicing on their own).
The printed graphical reports could be used to advertise your tennis
programs or camps (by mailing or posting them). Parents and prospects
can immediately see the value of your offering. You can also email drill
directly from the iTennisSystem.
3. Saves you time:
It saves you time by reusing what you have created and applying it to
various situations. We have other pros. who have agreed to share their
tennis programs with the tennis community (these drills, programs ...
can be modified to fit your own situation and needs).
4. Puts technology in your hands:
As with all industries, computers are increasingly becoming a way of life
and a way of doing business. This system puts the technology in your hands,
and gives you the ability to use it in the tennis teaching / learning
context. We went the extra mile to simplify usability through our intuitive
graphical interface.
5. Repository of valuable training techniques
and material: Provides you with materials you can print and
distribute prior to your lesson and on rainy days.
6. Added professionalism: The professional
tennis reports generated add to your credibility and image.
7. Added value for students: Students
can review your tennis reports on their own time.
8. Creates consistency and establishes standards:

What is the advantage of your program to making photocopied drills and presenting them to my staff?
|
^ |
|
By photocopying drills from books
and various sources, you end up with a mixture of formats that may be hard
to follow. The iTennisSystem provides with a tool to create (and reuse)
consistent drill formats. By having the same format, you can better communicate
and greatly reduce the learning curve for your students and staff.
|
|
How do I send a drill to someone via email?
|
^ |
|
Go to the Exercise menu and click on Send Via Email
(available in version 2.0.19 and higher). If you have version 2.0.18 or earlier, use the
menu option the Internet | Publish to InterTennis and change the email address.
|
|
How do I add images to my drills?
|
^ |
|
There are two ways to accomplish this: First, you can paste
an image you created in Microsoft Paint, for example, directly into the exercise editor.
The second method is described in the FAQ "How do I add images to my tennis images toolbar?",
Once your new image is the Tennis Images Toolbar, you can drag and drop your images onto the canvas.

|
How do I add images to my tennis images toolbar?
|
^ |
|
If the Tennis Images Toolbar is
not visible, go to the menu View | Toolbars and select Tennis Images Toolbar.
Right click anywhere on the toolbar and select Import Image. This allows
selecting an image located on your drive. Note that you can scan images, save
them to your hard drive and import them into the software in this manner.

|
Does iTennisSystem run on Windows XP?
|
^ |
|
Yes.
|
|
Does iTennisSystem run on the Macintosh?
|
^ |
|
No.
|
|
How do I un-install iTennisSystem?
|
^ |
|
Place your installation media (CD and disk) in the appropriate drives on your
computer and double click on "Remove iTennisSystem" on the CD.
|
|
What are the possible iTennisSystem configurations, and what is the difference?
|
^ |
|
iTennisSystem comes in two configurations: Standard and Professional.
The Standard version contains the graphical drill editor only. The Pro. version allows creation
of lessons and programs in addition to drills which also includes over 100 professional drills.
The Pro. version, also, comes with the iTennisManager which facilitates organizing your tennis drills, lessons and programs.
For example, you could have your all of your camp's tennis programs in the system, organized by
day or by age group, or by level... . Overall, the iTennisSystem Pro. offers
a complete solution to the organization and representation of tennis instructions.
